Additional Terrain Types
Wall
APPLIES TO: GALLOWDARK, TOMB WORLD
Wall terrain is treated as if it were Heavy terrain that extends to the ceiling of the Killzone. This means, that operatives cannot draw visibility, move through or climb over this terrain type. This takes precedence over all over rules.
Some Walls contain Hatchways or Breach Points (Tomb World only), refer to Killzone specific rules for more information.
Hatchway
APPLIES TO: GALLOWDARK, TOMB WORLD
Hatchways are doors that can be opened and closed by operatives during the battle.
A hatchway is either fully open, or fully closed. At the start of the battle, all Hatchways are closed.
Closed
Whilst closed, the Wall, Hatchway and Access Point are considered Wall terrain.
Open
While a hatchway is open:
- Its hatch must be fully open (it cannot be ajar).
- Its access point is Accessible, Insignificant and Exposed terrain.
- Its hatch is Wall terrain the gap directly underneath it is Blocking terrain.
