Universal Actions
Key Principles of Kill Team
The minimum action cost is 0AP. An action cannot have a cost lower than this, taking precedence over all over rules. All movement actions must follow movement rules, as defined in the universal principles.
Universal Actions
Reposition – Movement (1AP)
Allows an operative to move through the Killzone up to the limit of their Move stat.
To perform this action, an operative must not:
- Already be in control range of an enemy operative
- Move through the control range of an enemy operative that does not also have a friendly operative in control range
- End their movement in control range of an enemy operative
- Have performed Fall Back or Charge in the same activation
Dash – Movement (1AP)
Allows an operative to perform additional movement. To perform this action, the operative cannot:
- Move more 3”
- Climb, however, they can Drop or Jump
- Perform this action in the same activation they performed a charge
Fall Back – Movement (2AP)
Allows an operative to move from an enemy operative’s control range. To perform a this action a friendly operative:
- Must be in control range of an enemy operative
- Can move through the control range of an enemy operatives, however, it cannot end its go there
- Perform a Fall Back if they have already performed a Charge or Reposition in this activation
Charge – Movement (1AP)
Allows an operative to end their activation in control range of an enemy operative. To perform this action, the operative must:
- End their movement in control range of an enemy operative
- Not exceed their Move Stat plus an additional 2”
- Not leave the control range of an enemy operative if no other friendly are also in control range of that enemy operative
- Not have performed a Reposition, Dash or Fall Back in the same activation

Allows an operative to remove a Marker token from the Killzone. The operative is now considered to be Carrying, Controlling and Contesting that marker.
[TODO: define these words]
To perform this action, the operative must:
- Control the marker
- Not already be carry a marker
- Not be in control range of an enemy operative
Place Marker – Mission (1AP)
Allows an operative to place a Marker it is carrying within this operative’s Control Range. This action cannot be performed in the same activation in which the operative has already performed Pick Up Marker (unless incapacitated). This action must be performed if an operative is carrying a marker and they are incapacitated. In this scenario, the action is treated as 0AP and takes precedence over all over rules that might prevent this action from happening.
Shoot – Combat (1AP)
Allows an operative to shoot. To perform this action, the operative must not be in control range of an enemy operative and must have a target. Refer to the Shooting rules for more information.
Fight – Combat (1AP)
