Shooting Sequence

Key Principles of Kill Team

Select a Weapon

Select one ranged weapon available to an operative (denoted by 3 bullet icon). Collect a number of D6 dice equal to that weapon profile’s Atk stat.

Select a Target

The attacker select a valid target as the primary target by drawing 3 dimensional targeting lines.

Refer to Targeting Line rules for more information.

Roll Attack Dice

Collect attack dice equal to that weapon profile’s Atk Stat.

Roll the dice and discard any that are lower than that weapon profile’s Hit stat.

If the target is obscured, resolve the affects now.

Roll Defence Dice

The defender rolls their defence dice – choosing to retain any cover saves they may have.

Resolve Defence Dice

The defender allocates successful retained defence dice to block damage from successful attack dice using the following rules:

  • A normal success can block a normal success
  • Two normal successes can block a critical success
  • A critical success can block a critical success or a normal success

Resolve Attack Dice

The remaining unblocked attack dice now do damage equal to their damage profile.

A normal success inflicts damage equal to the weapon’s Normal Dmg stat.

A critical success inflicts damage equal to the weapon’s Critical Dmg stat.
